Dunnet Bay Distillery is the stylish, sustainable spirits company which created multi-award-winning Rock Rose Gin. From the most northerly coast of mainland Scotland, the eco-friendly, family-owned business runs its own distillery, hand-crafting a range of Rock Rose Gins and Holy Grass Vodka, reflecting the purity and beauty of the Scottish coastline, using many locally foraged and home-grown botanicals. We are situated on the iconic North Coast 500 route around the north of Scotland and the John O’ Groats to Lands’ End tourist route. Dunnet Bay Distillery is located three miles from Dunnet Head, the most northerly point on mainland Britain. Join us at the distillery to learn a wee bit more about our spirits, our botanicals and our fabulously shiny stills, Elizabeth and Margaret. Tours run daily (except Sun) in peak season. Sustainable Practices
At Dunnet Bay Distillery we aim to continuously improve our environmental performance and minimise our environmental impact. We support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for a peaceful and prosperous society with a healthy planet and work on these through 5 key areas: carbon, water, people, waste and biodiversity. We have a dedicated Environmental Manager who ensures that we are always seeking to make improvements on our sustainability. We have introduced a recyclable refill pouch to refill our ceramic bottle-for-life. These create a super recycling scheme, allowing you to refill your iconic Rock Rose Gin collectable ceramic bottle. We are the first gin available in fully recyclable pouches that can be returned to the distillery, freepost via Royal Mail. Please see our website for more information on our sustainable practices.
