Knockfarrel Produce

Jo Hunt and Lorna Walker farm a 40-acre, certified organic croft. They supply Black Isle chefs and (in partnership with the Natural Vegetable Co.) Highland Council school and care home kitchens with salads and herbs. Locals can find them at farmers’ markets, sign up to their choose-your-own veg box scheme, or get workplace deliveries. At the moment you can buy Knockfarrel veg, eggs, berries, jams and preserves, and if you can wait four years for the trees they’ve planted to grow, you can add apples, pears and nuts to that shopping list.
