Here in the Highlands, we are extremely fortunate to have access to such wonderful produce. From seas and rivers to woodlands and hills – the Highlands produce some of the finest foods in the world.
If you are doing the cooking this Christmas, there are many benefits to shopping locally. For small businesses it can mean the world to have your support over the festive season. You are guaranteed that locally produced foods will be fresh and in season – and at their tastiest! As well, it goes some way in helping your Christmas to be more environmentally friendly, by reducing the transportation mileage of goods.

Black Isle Dairy

Great Glen Charcuterie

The Oyster Shed
Get fresh oysters from The Oyster Shed on the Isle of Skye for Christmas, or order shellfish or smoked fish seafood boxes to pick up or to be delivered. You can visit their shop in Carbost, Skye which is open all year round – for more local produce.
